LDZ also known as LONDONZOO are one of the most diverse, prolific and versatile Hip Hop outfits to emerge from the UK. Consisting of MC’s Dabbla (aka Puppa Murc), Cobes, Rocksta (aka Harry The Bastard) & Mc Pringle Producer's Sumgii & Pierre Green & dj FRosty. Through the pirate radio scene Dabbla was introduced to Pierre Green and Sumgii who were already establishing themselves in the dubstep/breaks movement. Londonzoo was formed.

The energy and vibe they created soon got them a reputation for their musical diversity, from Breaks, HipHop to Dubstep to Broken Beats they were soon hosting rooms at One NAtion, Herbal and Sankey’s suppoting acts such as Rahzel, ScratchPerverts, Adam F, Rodney P & Skits, Beatnuts and many more. In 2002 it went from producing beats for just personal Dubplates to more serious recordings, working with other mc/rappers/producers for mixtape projects and releases.

Their First release, a dubstep track, was played by the late John Peel whos playlist is achived on radio1. Since then, Ldz have worked with Dubbledge, Foreign Beggars, Steve ebola, Dag Nabbit, stig of the dump, dr syntax, Chase & Status, HLC, Philly B, and nuff more. LDZ’s first official mixtape ‘Living Long Ting' has given these lads from north/north west London a strong foothold in the music game and gained them a reputation for their distinctive, energetic performances. Their first official video ' Lips 2 da floor' ft Dubbledge has had over 600,000 views on YouTube and recieved regular plays on mainstream and underground radio shows inc Radio1, 1xtra, and Rincefm.

In 2008 mc's Rocksta (aka Rocko) and Cobes (Formally known as Cobra) joined forces with LDZ solidifying their identity as an exceptionally, outstanding 'larger than life' musical force to be reckoned with. Lyrical observations of life, funny wit, heavy flows and amazing wordplay spat over rugged and raw beats make the perfect blend to capture your attention and ears. Since being adopted by Dented Records you'll be seeing extensive collaborations and projects in the near future with losts of guest appearances complimented with cuts from they're very own Dj Frosty. Ldz continue to perform around the Uk as well as international bookings including Switzaland, Serbia, Spain, Ireland, and Romania, and Recently hosted the Vip tent at 'O2 wireless festival' in Hyde Park july 09.
