“Kosmophonia” is Lavoura’s third album but the first as a quartet which confers a much better approach to sound. The album is the result from a lot of touring and jam sessions as a quartet to get to know each other better and in which you add the experience of individuals such as TRZ and Caleb who are credited for the new texture and arrangements of the band Their references are to the landscapes and cities of Brazil “Arara is Burning” (Araraquara), “Black Hot Drumma” (Rio Preto), “Sumarezinho Underground” (Bairro de São Paulo), an attempt to translate into music the diverse architectural landscape of Brazil through their experiences and trips. They exploit a minimalist type of harmony mixed with a jazzy feel. This album was th longest of all three to be released and the first time it was produced professionaly and not recorded in a bedroom... The result of the album brings you very close to the live experience with a sensational groove sound which comes into crash with psychedelism

“Kosmophonia” é o terceiro trabalho do Lavoura e o primeiro sob o formato de quarteto, o que conferiu maior organicidade para o som. Ele é resultado do laboratório vivo da banda, com faixas que começaram a ser criadas no palco, durante jam sessions e depois foram tomando um novo formato, outras partiram de experiências individuais dos produtores TRZ e Caleb, acrescidas de novas texturas e arranjos para banda. Algumas faixas fazem referências a cidades “Arara is Burning” (Araraquara), “Black Hot Drumma” (Rio Preto), “Sumarezinho Underground” (Bairro de São Paulo), uma tentativa de traduzir pelo som a arquitetura, as paisagens e a experiência das viagens. Neste trabalho, as referências da bandas estão menos explícitas, com o uso de samples dando lugar a harmonias minimalistas e uma pegada jazzy. Foi o disco do grupo que levou mais tempo para ser feito, cerca de três anos, e teve parte dele gravado em estúdio profissional e outras sequências no esquema bedroom producing dos álbuns anteriores. O resultado do trabalho é muito próximo da experiência da banda ao vivo, com um groove setentista sólido na cama e uma parede de sintetizadores bem construída e psicodélica..
