Less than Perfect

Giving it my all not to give a Sh#t within reason
while still exploring the psychology of I do
Able to identify most of my treason’s
yet unable to undo them

And no I don’t want to care
if I’m not the scrawniest or the prettiest
I’ve been working past that mess so I won’t care
and this was the case
for four less than perfect years
this was the case for four years long
and they were less than perfect

Less than perfect

Maintaining that I don’t really mind
while wondering what you think about me
is silly un-reason, really
because I have all these dreams
exclusive of your scene
and when I close my eyes,
I’m never here
In the end,I really don’t know where I stand
I think I’ve moved on
but I’m still there
I’m afraid I can’t hold up against the
daily questions on my own
I feel above it now, as if I’m already away
yet when I realize I’m still going through those days
I’m unsure yet,
how to make the change
and they were less than perfect
