Q: When I lived in Austin, TX I got to meet Eric Johnson. Really nice guy, my ex gf introduced us at a macrobiotic restuaurant she worked at and that he ate at often. Also had fun convo w SRV's drummer.

A: Brian, i'm so sorry for the delay...thought i'd already answered!! That is awesome..Eric is definitely one of my favs & an influence as well!! That's one of those life changing moments! I had a very similar situation where i met Johnny Winter & drove him in my car across town to pickup something & returned him to Camelott Inn in Little Rock! My keyboard player's girlfriend was working in the bar at Camelot Inn serving Johnny drinks all afternoon & set the whole thing up. He invited her up to the room, she said her boyfriend was on his way, Johnny said bring him on up to the room....i just happened to be my keyboard player's ride!!!!
