Inexhaustible music enthusiasts, enamoured with their own instrument, tirelessly exploring its sonic & rhythmic possibilities. These bands care convincingly for their audience and have a sense of humanity intact, creative, imaginative and yet grounded. When their music starts, your toes tap, your foot stomps, your head nods, your finger tips rap on table tops, you start singing words you’ve never even heard before and you start smiling, even through tears. In order to properly launch the debut EP of Fiona Lee Maynard & Her Holy Men, three such bands have been assembled to play at the wonderful Flying Saucer Club on Friday 14th June.
