With a little bit Joni Mitchell, a little bit Bob Dylan, and a little bit Mazzy Star, Lara Claire seems like a flower child from the Sixties with an amazing talent for melody and songwriting. For such a little girl, she has a powerful, soulful voice that can make you smile, laugh or cry. She has a knack for witty lyrics and catchy melodies.    
    She started singing when she was 3 years old. She got her first guitar when she was 8, She played for family friends, relatives and at talent shows. She wrote her first song when she was 11 years and hasn't stopped since. Throughout her middle school and high school years she wrote songs about everything from gypsies to cats to coffee shops.
    "I think my music is growing. I really struggle with it but it's something that I refuse to give up." she says. She wants to start a revolution. "Music has played, plays, and will always play a big part in my life."   
    Lara Claire is planning on recording a demo before the summer.
