Summer 1979, on Oakland, California, Lady Khadija was born ready for the world and she remains ready. Heavily talented, she is a multifaceted artist with the gift of word and song. She captivated audiences with her sultry song and fierce spoken word. She has extraordinary empathy which enables her to connect with individuals from all walks of life. With wisdom beyond her years, she uses her many talents to benefit and uplift. Lady Khadija is more than just poetry, difficult to define and not to be confined. She is many things, but a servant first, with a mission to educate the masses, moving people to connect with the Source from which we all come.

Lady Khadija is more than just poetry. Her talents include performance poetry, playwriting, song writing, digital design, radio broadcasting, jewellery making and fashion design. She has shared the stage with such phenomenal artist as Talib Kweli, Tony Award winning, 7time HBO Def Poet Georgia Me, and Harry Belafonte. An effortless fusion, art with advocacy and activism, she is founding member of the artist collective of 144k and WordSound Alliance a network of artists re-defing the role of art, music, and performance in relation to real- world events with focus on collaboration and resource, project and program development.

he continues to provide platforms for artist expression. Lady Khadija organized and hosted Lyrical Insurrection, one of Cincinnati's longest running artist showcases. She also co- hosted several shows on WAIF-FM Cincinnati, the Caribbean Xpress Show with Hecky-Heck and is currently blogcasting Acid Gospel and the all feature set, The Burning Truth, live on BlogTalkRadio. She has co-produced and performed in two plays. 144k's The Revelation made its debut in 2000 at the Aronoff Centre and with Summons of Supreme in 2003, La Pacha Negra debut at the Contemporary Arts Centre of Cincinnati. She released a book of poetry in 2002 entitled Peace It Together. Her most recent CD project is the 2008 release, 19... FireWater, an intoxicating fusion of poetry and song.

n 2009, Lady Khadija anticipates the launching of the Spit FireWater Tour to distribute the album. She keeps busy marketing and promoting through WordSound Alliance and producing Acid Gospel and The Burning Truth on WordSound Radio, both founded in 2008.
