Music is a historical tradition. Music has been alive at social functions for centuries. For many years, music has prooved to be a long lasting presence in our lives. It is in our films, televisions, and daily social functions. It isn't usually taught parent to child, so people are seeking schools where they can learn. Due to the technological access that is available in these times, the next generations of musicians must have exposure to a musical matrix of technologies in order to be successful. In order to globally influence music through this techonology, Staump Productions has created Staump.com, which is our online social networking site for musicians around the world.

Staump Productions is deticated to bringing quality and affordable music instruction and audio recording to people worldwide.   

Being based in San Diego since 1999,  we have seen and delt with many recording studios and many music schools in the San Diego area, but there has never been a facility that combined the recording atmosphere with the instrumental music eductaion atmosphere. It is our plan to incorporate the existing music community into our studio to begin with a strong basis of supporters. From there we will be able to spread the word that music lessons and recording is a productive and exciting way to spend one's time. There are an overwhelming amount of benefits to music that will attract people from diverse backgrounds and interestes.

Tim and Maria Staump, a husband and wife team, are the founders and owners of Staump Productions LLC. They have both been very involved in music thoughout their lives.

Tim Staump is a musician and visionary entrepreneur working in the music industry. A percussionist since age ten, Tim has studied from musicians like James Morton, Kirk Hoffmen, Tyler Dempsey, Mark Schulman, and Zoro the drummer. His inspiration comes from drummers like Buddy Rich, Dave Weckle, Jeff Hamilton, Carter Beauford, Zoro, and Steve Gadd just to name a few, Throughout his musical career, he has played for various orchestras, big bands, and drum corps. In addition, he has been a part of bands ranging anywhere from rock, to country, to hip hop. Currently, Tim is also endorsed by Vic Firth as an educator in their private drum teacher program, as well as their scholastic educators program. The private drum teachers program is designed for percussion educators who teach in a private setting, this program is geared to support further growth in percussive studies and product knowledge. The Vic Firth scholastic educators program is designed for scholastic percussion educators whose schools have established successful programs both in their region and nationally. Tim has taught musicians ranging in ages from 5 years to 70 years and he has been a drum instructor for several different junior highs and high schools throughout California. Maria Staump is an independent musician from San Diego, California. Maria has studied with renound guitarists like Mr. Fred Benedetti, and has received a degree in music. She is a teacher and manager of education for Staump Productions LLC for two years. She instructs over forty students every week. These students range in age from three to sixty, and are all taught music theory, composition, performance, technique, and overall competency on their instrument. Maria offers lessons on guitar, piano, voice, trumpet, and violin. She is also a member of MENC, a program dedicated to the support and growth of music education. In addition to being an educator, Maria is also a composer and member of ASCAP. Maria finished her first album, "Mi Vida Bonita," in February of 2008.
