Kimball Packard - Owner: Kimball has been in the music biz as an artist manager for 14 years, starting with UK legend John Martyn in 1994. In the late 80's, he was the General Manager of Nightstage, a great music venue in Cambridge MA (now closed), promoted concerts at the 500 seat Charles Playhouse in Boston and ran indie record labels for Jonathan Edwards and T Bone Wolk. He also managed Boston's Amy Fairchild and Katie Terrio, Jenny Bruce and Karen Jacobsen from NYC, and the New Birth Brass Band from New Orleans. In 2005, he was production Coordinator for the New Orleans Social Club CD "Sing Me Back Home". Kimball lives just outside Boston, but spends a lot of time in New Orleans, and Austin TX.

Ashley Dorr - Artist Manager: Ashley graduated from Regis College in 2007, majoring in Communication with a Minor in Management. She first contacted Sound Advice in 2003 after reading an article in the Boston Globe about Kimball, saying, "that's what I want to do"! She interned for a summer, worked part time during her college years, and became a full time member of the staff in June 2007. She is responsible for all aspects of our artists careers, advancing dates, contacting press and radio, and occasionally even acting as tour manager. Ashley comes from a a very musical family, her father is a bass player, and her brother leads the popular boston-based rock band, Endway.

Sound Advice has handled Public Relations for numerous CD releases, both nationally and locally. We have successfully promoted Popular Artist Concert Series at The Charles Playhouse in Boston, Biddeford Opera House in Maine and the Eagle Mountain House in Jackson NH. Kimball has also been a board member for the Mt Washington Valley Arts Jubilee, and the Boston Sports Awards, as well as general manager of the legendary Cambridge MA music venue, Nightstage.
