PARALLAX SOUNDS is a D.I.Y alternative music net label. Parallax Sounds is a music movement of a nearby music star against the background of more distant music stars. The intention to promote good, alternative, unknown and unsigned music artists to become more recognised with people in this world. Parallax Sounds is a music label that wants to follow the traditions of early pioneering alternative cult D.I.Y labels such as 4AD, Cherry Red, Creation Records, Rough Trade, Rephlex, Benbecula, Warp ect and to follow the footsteps of John Peel in discovering and promoting great unheard, unsigned, alternative music but on a music label way instead of the radio. Each release will be presented in a clear plastic "post friendly" cd cases with a double sided colour sleeve inside or possibly a card insert. There will be album & EP releases. Each release will be done in CDR format or MP3 downloads. Parallax Sounds was created and is co-founded by Anthony Merrill AKA (Maelstrom). After years of making music and following music, he decided to create a small music net label to follow his passion further. A selection of albums, ep's, and download releases that cover a wide range of musical influences, genres, styles, and forms.
