Loonatix Productions is an independently owned and operated underground hip-hop label based out of St. Paul, Minnesota. Formed in 2001, Loonatix Productions began as a DJ and Lighting Company for hire, of which, evolved into a recording studio working with local musicians and promoting for shows. Since the first official release in 2003, Loonatix has grown to be one of the most notable and recognized local hip-hop outfits in the Twin Cities next to Rhymesayers Entertainment and Doomtree. Housing such underground hip-hop artists as Ruthless, Professor Fresh, MC Rentz, Ill P.O.E. and ill e. gal. Loonatix artists are versatile and known for their live performances and unique sound.

Loonatix staff, fans, and friends as a whole are a family of extraordinary individuals that are aware of over saturated pseudo-pop music found on the radios and TV's in the world today, realizing it's time for a change and a time to stir things up in our corporate lives. We express it in the music we listen to, with the clothes we wear, and the way we present ourselves in this country where our freedom is slowly being chiseled into someone else's dream, it's up to you as an individual to rise above and beyond to make your own dreams come true, Loonatix Productions started as a dream and is now a reality. Loonatix Artists have shared stages with the likes of 2 Live Crew, Project Deadman, Brother Ali, Mack 10, Vanilla Ice, Tech N9ne, Twiztid, Powerman 5000, Potluck, Drowning Pool, Rehab, P.O.S., Too $hort, Marz, R.A. The Rugged Man, Insane Clown Posse, Afroman, SubNoize Souljaz, Goretex, Danny Diablo, Kottonmouth Kings and many other notable underground artists. From Minnesota to New York to Connecticut to Arkansas, they've left tracks and continue to leave more as they venture across the country spreading their music to the masses, and won't stop.
