About
Flying Pig Productions LLC is a newly emerging, innovative production company that is committed to sharing the joy they experience through the arts with the rest of the world. Founded by Joe Bilotta in 2006, his vision of bringing his passion for the arts to a wider audience is now being realized through The Flying Pig Cultural Center in Brea, California.
Currently representing an amazing collection of dancers, musicians and photographers, Flying Pig Production’s mission is to change the face of Orange County through their team of talented performers and avant-guard artists. They will also be inviting the finest acts from around the world to come and perform in their unique facility.
This September, Flying Pig Productions will complete the construction of their new building: The Flying Pig Cultural Center. Based out of Orange County, the Flying Pig Cultural Center will be a breath of fresh air for local art fans who feel that Orange County lacks a prominent cultural center. Designed with the intention of creating a “farmer’s co-op” for artistic expression, the building has been retrofitted with a state of the art recording studio, a world class dance studio and theatre, an HD video editing room and an in-house IT/web-design team. It will also be home to the visionary and world renowned photographer, David Paul. The theatre at the Flying Pig Cultural center will be a dance laboratory for the inimitable choreography of Katrina Rose.
The reason Flying Pig Productions decided to construct a turnkey creative facility was because they wanted to break away from the corporate rat-race side of music that often plagues artists in big cities like Los Angeles, New York and Nashville. At the new center, artists will be able to come in and have free range to release their creativity in any way they feel necessary. They will also have a multitude of resources available, both human and electronic, thereby maximizing their time in the studio and minimizing time spent worrying about the mountainous auxiliary drama that plagues so artists around the world. Anything and everything will be possible and fully available at the Flying Pig Cultural Center.
Founded in the Muscle Shoals Sound Studio philosophy, Flying Pig Productions is building a creative sanctuary where artists will be immersed in a Willy Wonka art-factory that is outfitted to allow for complete unhindered artistic expression. Without fat cat CEO’s or corporate managers to hound the artists, Flying Pig Productions empowers their clients to focus on creating the most exquisite, moving and provocative contemporary art in the world.
