Where to start:
Founder James B Fetzer was born to a chic who is stuck in the 60's. This woman who put a 8 Track of Fleetwood Macs "Rumors" in his hand and a bottle in the other (What was in the bottle he will never tell). Growing up in the 70's was a totally electrifying experience for him. Ever since he could remember he was listening to the likes of Steely Dan, Led Zepplin, Black Sabbath, Crosby,Stills,Nash & Young, Hendrix, The Doors, The O'Jays. Etc Etc. I think you get the point!
Anyway having listened to everything under the sun he got lost in music. It energized him when he needed it, and made him tremble with emotion when he least expected. Growing up his mom had a boyfriend whom just increased my love of music! Yeah you guessed it he was a musician whom he am still very close too. That band is Old Scool Band formally known as The Push with Bob Kerly, Lionel de Bernard & David Worthington. And for you Delawareians he have to include Mike Hines & FVK (Fearless Vampire Killers). Anyway he bought Jim his 1st guitar a true Gibson Epiphone not a Japanese knockoff. Yes he thought of being a Rock Star but instead became a juvenile delinquent & roady!
Well one grows up (a little) he lied about his age and landed a job in radio! (Back in the day you could do it and get away with it!) He took a internship at WYSP and then worked briefly at WUSL Power 99 both located in Philadelphia, Pa (until his age was found out!) He learned allot about the music industry and met some great people along the way. But as luck would have it he moved to glorious Palmyra Pa where he met Scott Donato who helped him get in at WCTX 92.1 a oldies station which was unique to say the least. Well long story short he was let go after 6 months for changing and breaking format but hey thats Rock n Roll!
Shortly after he sold his guitars and Equipment and joined the US Army. Then he ran into Matt & John of S.O.S. (whom I have know for 17+ years now) at friend Ray Rossi's Birthday Bash. Well after being swayed by not only them but also some other friends & musicians I have started Fetzer Entertainment to help both local cover bands and original bands. With all aspects from bookings, advertising, promotions, negotiations, sponsorships, etc etc...
