Byrneside Music began in Melbourne, Australia, at the beginning of 2008 as a management company. It was originally created by Sam Panetta of Melodic Music (Kisschassy, Angelas Dish, Stealing O’Neal) as a means to working with mature age artists.

The company began its management roster working with bands such as Small Mercies, Planet of the Stereos and Galleon but quickly found more and more artists they were interested in. With their growing roster now including several unsigned acts, Byrneside soon branched out from being just management to also taking on the roles of record label and artist development.

Byrneside is quickly marking its name in the music industry, with staff and artist rosters growing constantly. But no matter how large Byrneside grows they will always be committed to the success of all their artists as well as being on the constant lookout for fresh talent.
