“NYC's Krychek recently sent us his latest self titled EP + new DJ Mix The Kronicles of Krychek: Le Cinquième. The DJ mix is a deep house lover's dream come true and is available as a free download, but what really caught my attention is his own original music. Scotch and Murder Music Presents a night with Krychek and FJAZZ at Gin Palace to celebrate the release of their LIVE AT TAMMANY HAL EPL, out on May 7th on LADA Records. The two producers have been hard at work in the studio creating new material, fusing Krychek’s “dreamy electronic 80’s flair” with live “experimental electronica” offered by FJAZZ. This is not the first time both artists have come together and collaborated as Krychek’s first EP, named simply KRYCHEK, was mixed and mastered by FJAZZ. They also produced the track “Embody” featured in the soundtrack of the Sundance hit Concussion. This time around expect the tag-team to deliver heavy hitting, synth’d out dance ballads accompanied by live instrumentals. The WIG skillfully crafts his tracks and live sets to create a unique experience for the dance club and is known for his creative compositions, technical efficiency, and infectious energy. The WIG has performed at some of the world’s best dance floors with his music being heard in over 30 countries. Of course, along with your favorite underground Deep and French House all night. About Scotch and Murder: Scotch and Murder Music is an NYC based music blog co-founded by Krychek in 2011. We decided to start throwing monthly shows in 2012, spinning our favorite old and new deep house, french house, and nu disco. After the success of our first show celebrating the release of Krychek's EP, we could not resist enduring. With the recruitment of the brilliant Brazilian FJAZZ and electro house master Dave Edwards, the momentum is undeniable at this point and we refuse to stop.
