In twenty years of writing and playing music I've recently come to a realiztion: there are other routes to musical fulfillment besides being a performing artist. I'm not interested in the touring, the pigeonholing, always being "on."

Just between you and me I don't have the chops for serious performing.

Most of my songs fall under the umbrella of country. Sometimes I think that umbrella is a little on the small side. Sometimes I think it's protecting way too many people from the rain.

So I call my music "coffeetonk." But classify it however you will, if you like what you hear here, and want to record it, I want you to record it (in the interest of accuracy and full disclosure: I want to license it to you to record). I'd be honored regardless of who you are or aren't.
