Bio

Born and raised in phoenix, Arizona. I started rapping at the age of 14; at first it was just for fun but as I grew into it I started taking it serious I’m not one to write about big wheels and iced out changed I’m more the type to write about real life drama and the stuff I’ve been through…

I hope as u listen to my songs u can relate to some of the stuff and walk away with a positive out come… feel free to leave a comment or opinion. Thanks for taking the time to come through and check out the page, always stay true and keep it as real as u can and always I mean always keep your head to the sky… K-OZ

About

I was born and raised in Phoenix, AZ. Growing up with a father whom was a mad man, my life was all but easy...still I strived to survive, instead of playing like a young child I ran the streets. I caught my first case around 12 for robbery and was sentenced to do a couple years probation...a year later I caught another case but over some he say shit. I was facing a 25 year sentence and I was only 14, I could have beat the case if I took it to trial, but at 14 I was a young kid and scared of a 25 year bid, so I pleaded down and did about 3yrs. While being locked up I met some real life hustlas, gang bangers and drug dealers.

Locked in a cage only getting out for 1 hour a day for the first month, I had no one to talk to so I turned to a pen and a pad. I started writing my thoughts, heart and soul, by the time I was released I had a ton of shit wrote and the best part about it all was it was all real. I wanted to share it with the world so I started entering talent shows at school, at first it was hard and I had a lot of people clowning not taking me serious.

I got out of jail when I was 17, at that time my dad just turned his self in for selling drugs and ended up taking a plea himself for a 15 year bid. My mom had left my dad and moved to Council Bluffs, IA so I also took off and made my way to IA. I had plans of keeping my nose clean but being from a big city I found it was gonna be hard to adapt to a slow moving city. I got so bored I found myself back in trouble and catching another case after only being free for 6 months or so. I ended up getting sentenced to prison for 2yrs this time over for stealing cars and choppin them. Luckily though I got discharged in 10 and a 1/2 months, I promised myself that this time for sure, I was gonna get out and work on this music.

Shortly after that I met a big local emcee named  Prophacy through my brother and started learning more about the music game from him, he was a cool ass cat and he had been threw some of the same shit I went through and was really feeling my rhymes. So soon after meeting Prophacy, I started working on some tracks with him but just couldn’t stay outta trouble. I caught another case trying to help out one of my homies and did another 2 year bid, by this time I was about 22 and decided to move to OKC to start a better life. I got me a good job there building custom homes and I was doing great, I wasn’t working on my music much but still I was still writing.
About 5 years went by with no trouble, I was free free free until I ran into some cats that had some connects and I couldn’t help myself. So I started fronting weed a half pound at a time, then from weed I went straight to meth, and that’s when shit got really hectic. I started falling to deep into the shit, and my peeps around me also started falling, so I decided I better jump state again because I wasn’t catching another case.

So back to Council Bluffs I went, for the first year I stayed low, real low. I ran back into my old homie Prophacy and showed him some of the stuff I had wrote. At that time he was coming out with his own album called “Prophacy Presents: Midwest Thugsta Souljas“, he liked some of the shit I had and gave me a spot on the album. I wrote a 16 bar verse for a song called “No More“, and that led me to start on my first solo album entitled “Hell Is On It’s Way“. Finally I started my album, one song at a time, every song I wrote was about my life and the shit I’ve been through. After I finished the album I started doing some shows, I feel though that  I haven’t pushed myself like I need to “but it aint over till it’s over“.
