“KLANK! One of the greatest rock bands in the Bay!”
“Right now this is in my Top 10 albums of the year so far. If you're a Klank fan already, then you have this - or need it immediately if not sooner. If you're just discovering Klank for the first time, THIS is the album you want right here. This is another one that gets 3 thumbs up from me”
“Urban Warfare is a genuine breath of fresh air to the current Metal scene. While there is an abundant amount of quality recordings being released, Klank have crafted an album that truly sets them apart from the majority rule and delivers them an opportunity to take their abilities and talents to an entirely new level of appreciation. Fans and critics alike are sure to swallow this latest masterpiece hook, line and sinker; here’s to the revolution!”
“Urban Warfare, the latest release from KLANK, grabs you by the throat at the beginning and doesn’t let go for all fourteen tracks.”
“With Urban Warfare, Daren Diolosa and company make a firm declaration of war against the conventions of industrial/metal, launching an all out assault of raucous riffs, pummeling percussion, and virulent vocals, topped off by subtle yet scorching synths and sequences that ground the band’s style firmly in the industrial realm without sacrificing the metal intensity.”
“The masters of groove-infused dance metal are back and better than ever. With the release of Urban Warfare, Klank once again dishes out one heck of an album that was well worth the wait. The trademark synthy arrangements and meaty chords that we have come to expect from a Klank record are all accounted for on Urban Warfare and many of the songs are so hypnotic and mesmerizing that they burrowed into my head and remained with me throughout the day. The title track "Urban Warfare" is a good example; hours after turning off the player the chugging, staccato rhythm was still bouncing around in my skull. The album is fast and furious and the festivities even come to a close with a guest vocal appearance by Doug Pinnick of King's X fame. At the end of the day I feel Urban Warfare is the best Klank effort to date; they have virtually perfected their brand of infectiously-catchy, insanely groovy metal. This is definitely worth checking out when it's released on June 12th!”
“Urban Warfare is outstanding, an album all metal fans should take time to immerse themselves within. KLANK stand on the edge of the widest recognition and deserve”

Urban Warfare from US metallers KLANK is one prime example, a mighty incendiary album which has yet to surface on the radar of a great many though it was unleashed last year. Consisting of fourteen slabs of irresistible industrial metal veined by magnetic electronic lures and even more seductive delicious grooves, the release stops you dead in your tracks and recruits the passions in a brawling riot of enterprise and intensive energy. ”
