Q: How do you come up with your song titles? Is it an instrumental sound, a memory, or what drives the creativity behind them? I dig your music AND the unique titles! Also, will you be doing more video?
A: hello sir and thanks for the question, truth is i have no direct pattern or method, sometimes a title comes from a piece of history i like or find interesting, such as the "aten" titles, or geography and history combinations-such as itu aba, or the farralones. In addition sometimes a finished track will give off a certain emotion or vibe and the title will reflect my feelings that it brought on such as 'love in a lost city", other titles are names of certain artist's paintings that i like-such as" manou tupapuo", or my latest track which is a direct nod to chick corea who has always been an influence on my playing even before i started playing keys-anyway thanks for the query !
