Kinzli Coffman's music is open and honest and reflects her diverse background. Having spent her early years in various orphanages in South Korea, she was adopted by an American family at the age of 8 and had to adjust to an unfamiliar Western lifestyle. She wrote her first song, 'Hume-Fogg Alma Mater', at 16 and later performed it on stage at the Grand Ole Opry in Nashville, Tennessee. At this time she was exposed to an array of Southern music such as country, gospel, jazz, folk and bluegrass.

Kinzli first came to the UK in 2001 on holiday, but fell in love with Europe and moved to London. This proved the inspiration for her debut album, Going just to be going, recorded with producer Peter Michaels (BBC, National Geographic) and engineers Ray Staff (Corinne Bailey Rae, The Beautiful South) and Martin Giles (Depeche Mode, Cardigans) The album has been released on her own Indie label, Polkadot Records.

Kinzli's music embodies such genres as folk, jazz, rock, country, Latin and gypsy, but her beautiful voice and incredible songcraft are uniquely her own.

The debut album 'Going just to be going' is available from www.kinzli.com, Itunes and Napster.
