Bio
Lovers of the glitch and Perth’s pots and pans mascots, Killswitch’s J Switch and Killafoe have an intuitive and musical approach to a style of music the uneducated perceive to be brash, unpolished and unrefined, Killswitch are turning heads for all the right reasons. Their live performances always showcase their own speaker pumping productions and the very best tracks from likeminded producers all over the globe. To say their work, both in the studio and behind the decks, has raw energy is one hell of an understatement and if you have not yet been exposed to the brutally good side of drum and bass, dubstep and more then brace yourself, Killswitch is in the house.

KILLSWITCH BIO:
KillSwitch is formed by the two twisted minds of J Switch (Daniel Jensen) and Killafoe (Evan Scott) in early 2005. Both of them coming from differnt musical backgrounds but allways having their similar thinking lead to a path of wartorn devastation where punters in the crowd would often engage in a biff... literally.
Killafoe discovered jungle/dnb through his older brother. Heavily influenced by the sound, he took up mixing at the age of 14. J Switch was still in a metal band at the time when he first heard dnb and picked up mixing Drum & Bass a few months later due to the band deciding to throw in the towel and move on. J Switch and Killafoe met each other after school one day throwing down tracks up on the decks which then lead them into to trading production software. In 2002 both were learning the ways of producing solo and trading samples with one another, until late 2004 J Switch did a remix of Killafoe's "Now On" which lead to the idea to make two names collide and form KillSwitch.
With the like's of heavy metal vs hardcore vs hip hop styles causing Dance-floor destroyers, the style is relentless and ideas where never scarce. Now after spending two or so years in the studio and several gigs at numeours veneus inc. Trafik, Southside, Calm Before the Storm and Residents at EbbnFlow means they have had the chance to drop there recent experiments at many differnt crowds.
J Switch and Killafoe were approached by Inhibit Productions to become Ressidents and to help with ideas. This lead to big Nights at Industry Sessions and the Birth K.OS Sessions, which runs weekly on Krisisdnb.com and monthly on Groove 101.7.
Still only young and just having fun is a part of their plan with Drum & Bass, recently suporting Limewax at Bar Open and Dylan and Robyn and Therapy Sessions the future looks right to hold some big and sick things for these crazy demons. With many evil plots and a style consisting of ruff, chopped breaks and amens, twisted bass lines and stabs with a touch of dark, evil atmosphers and fucked up samples this is just part of their plan for the destruction of dancefloor music!
