red guitars
New Album Recordings

red guitars new, remastered compilation album has been released on Self-Drive. You can order a copy from the band's website, or find them on i-tunes.

Original guitarist, Hallam Lewis flew over from S. Africa in September last year to play a charity gig for the British Skin Care Foundation with a lineup Jerry Kidd, (my dad) had put together.

In the fortnight Hal was in the UK the band wrote and recorded half a dozen new tracks. You can listen to a mix of 'Fragile Creatures', (written by Adam) on the band's reverbnation page.

It is not yet clear if the new recordings are Red Guitars, or Blue Guitars, but they are sounding very exciting. Watch this space!

Kiyomori
New Album Recordings

  Kiyomori have just released our first ep, UPRISING on i-tunes.

The band have been gigging excessively and are having a short break before finishing their album. A new sound is emerging. Demos are being previewed here on reverbnation and on their popular myspace page.

Tractor Countdown
Shedworks Album.

An arable adventure, The Shedworks album is a shambolic, rustic masterpiece handcrafted from rural artefacts long ago bandoned by mischievous pixies in the shed at the bottom of the melancholic garden of neglected love.

Featuring a host of all-star guest musicians 'Shedworks' is a majestic collaboration between Mr Ian Walter Barnes and the Ben Kidd Big Band. Eclectic, exciting, bold and funny.

No gnomes were harmed in the recording of this album.

REE A.K.A. DRUMGIRL
DEBUT ALBUM RECORDINGS!!

Ree has been working on a few tracks over the last year, slowly developing her musical skills, playing guitar, drums, keys and vocals. She has also learned how to engineer and produce her own recordings.

Writing has become a refuge for her, a path she is happy she has found, since she crossed paths with an old friend of hers, who is now the love of her life! (that's Ben!;D)

Ben is very proud of Ree. She is great.

A collaboration between HEAVYMAN & DRUMGIRL. Blissed out atmospheric breakbeats, ambient drum n bass. MANNAZ implies the balance between the self and mankind, relationships, and bonding with others. DARKMANNAZ is all about the channeling of dark energies into light.

Codes
Taster.

Codes is the brainchild of Tom Bradshaw (Guitars) and Rob O'Loughlin (Vox, Guitar). Having developed a bunch of material with myself playing bass, Sean-Lee Duncan (Kiyomori, Music in Colour) on stick duty and Louise Spiteri on BVs, CODES are now refocusing their vision for the project.

While restaffing their rythm section they continue to write new material and perform on the local singer-songwriter circuit, refining their skills  and preparing their set. They are looking for a drummer and a female vocalist to write with.
