I grew up playing music in Boulder, CO, raised by a father that played in the church band and a mother who taught first grade with an acoustic in hand. My parents would sing my sister and I to sleep, teach lessons through song, and take us to Broadway musicals and Who concerts at a very young age.
I started writing/recording music in high school, and recorded my first album of original work in 2001, producing 300+ copies of "Daydreaming" and selling them at gigs, in class, and online at kevinheinz.com.
In 2004, I traveled to Australia and studied music production at Griffith University in Queensland, producing a full band demo titled "Australia."
I currently live in the mountains of Vail, CO and perform with friends and fellow musicians.
