Kevin Heinz grew up playing music in Boulder, CO, raised by a father that played in the church band and a mother who taught first grade with an acoustic in hand. His parents would sing him and his sister to sleep, teach lessons through song, and take take them to Broadway musicals and Who concerts at a very young age.
He started writing/recording music in high school, and recorded a solo album of original work in 2001 titled "Daydreaming", selling it at gigs, in class, and online.
