“Next up was Orlando band Kept Quiet. The band has a complex alternative rock sound overlaid with a differing mix of musical styles from metal to punk to pop and everything in between. This was the first plugged in show for the band, Jason Hubbard (lead vocals, guitar), David Minshall (guitar, vocals), April Marie (bass, keys, vocals) and Chris Classic (drums, vocals) and only their second show ever. They have a spirited stage show and they’re off to a great start with building a large, loyal fan base - the Haven was packed with a veritable army of Kept Quiet fans for their set. Kept Quiet was the only band with a merch booth set up and it was obvious they put a lot of effort into it. The band is so new, they didn’t have CDs to offer for sale, but they still had shirts, postcards with band info and upcoming shows listed, FREE lighters and buttons as well as an email sign-up list for fans.”
““We have been putting all of our time, sweat, and energy into preparing for this battle,” said David Minshall of Orlando band Kept Quiet. The opportunity to play in front of some of the local industry leaders and receive feedback from them is so valuable and we are looking forward to it. It is also the first time a lot of our friends and family will be hearing our new music. It’s very exciting for us.””
