I'm an Adelaide based acoustic/electric guitarist. and guitar teacher.

I've been playing guitar for nearly 30 years now. I started at age 11, with a private teacher. In my teenage years & early 20s I studied other music styles such as jazz and fingerstyle guitar, as well as attend Edith Cowan University (WA) in 1996.

I've always identified with roots-based, uncomplicated music. I have way too many 'influences' to mention on one page...so I'll just say I've been blessed with an 'open ear' for all types of good music. I enjoy listening to and playing most music styles - so you'll find a wide variety of instrumentals on here. Everything from fingerstyle guitar, laid-back groove guitar, resonator guitar, and even a little country.

I travelled to the USA a few years back and really soaked up the rich musical atmosphere in great cities such as Austin TX, Nashville and Memphis. Some songs on here were ideas I had in my head while travelling around these cities. I was lucky to have a guitar with me in my hotel room, to bring these tunes to life!

The songs on here were written over the last 2-3 years. It's great to have them finally on the 'net - they are now available for digital download from Amazon.com, and on ITunes & Rhapsody by April 2009.
