In 2007 she was picked in the 1st round of American Idol in Philadelphia, PA and in 2008 she won a performance at The Apollo Theater in NYC due to her winning Mercer County's Searching for the Stars competition. She has been noticed by news papers such as The Aquarian, The US 1, and The Rag. She has played at venues such as The Apollo Theater, The Tin Angel, The Trocadero, KatMandDu, The Saint, The Stone Pony and many more. She has also appeared live on WTRS Radio 91.3, numerous Princeton TV performances, and more. Kelly currently was accepted into Berklee College of Music in Boston Massachusetts and will be attending with the rest of her band in May 2009.
