Bio

Of Slovakian heritage, Kefer Topolanek was born in Spokane, Washington on Feb. 16, 1958. Later changing his stage identity to Keefe Taylor, he overcame family dysfunction to become one of the most enduring icons in the world of rock music. Along the way, Keefe has survived drug addiction, alcoholism, numerous tabloid-covered arrests, and near bankruptcy.
