" The far-off sounding vocals in the intro pair well with the instruments in the background. The lyrics are unique and almost morbid in a way, but catchy in a weird way. This song almost reminds me of The Cure. The vocal style represented by the singer in this song is very difficult to find in good music, and this is an example of the better side of this genre of singing. The background instruments convey an almost creepy mood which is intended by the lyrics. The song creates a perfect mood, yet is catchy enough still to become more popularly known than The Cure, in the same genre."

" I completely felt intoxicated by this song. It has a great intro to draw you in with a good pleasantness to it. It has a darker melancholy vibe once it gets into it with the diminished chord thrown in it but it is a good chord progression that sustains great rhythm and melody at the same time which is really hard to capture. The swells that rise and fade out in the background made it feels so real. It put you in the place where the story actually takes place with the chorus. It's very dark and trance like which I can see people actually getting into. The vocalist has a very soft voice that doesn't over power anything and compromise the way the song has introduced itself. It captures the image of just a story teller along with the guitar and instruments and sounds that put you right in the middle of the story as it is read out to you. The vocals are very subtle but maintains a great sense of melody. The lyrics depict such a mystical and realistic place where you just get lost in the s

"I could definitely see myself listening to this song while getting stoned, in fact I may pause it and do so. The choice of instrumentals and overall structure and interesting and work really well. The lyrics are compelling and entrancing. It remind me of being in church as a child but it a really good way. I still don't whether to cry or get stoned. This song is great, definitely something I would recommend to anybody who enjoys LSD or Catholicism. All the elements of this track blend together perfectly like a mcflurry of DQ Blizzard. From the lyrics to the instruments, I just don't want to turn this song off.!!! If Kate Bush, Enya and Simon and Garfuncle ad a kid, This is what they would sound like. Excellent Vocals, very well practised, Operatic training I guess.
“Interesting sounds and a wide array of influences are present from the getgo on this track. The atmosphere is dark, moody, but also a little strange and dreamy, and these moods are accentuated by the slow pace and unique vocals (and I can't tell if it's a boy or girl singing, which is a good thing, because either way it sounds good), and the music which includes a quiet acoustic guitar driving the song along in the background along with slightly more prominent bass sounds and what I'm guessing are synthesizers, which remind me of 80s Kate Bush or Cocteau Twins, and those are very honorable comparisons. In fact, it's not much of a stretch to assume this artist has listened to his/her share of Dreaming/Hounds-era Kate Bush or mid-late-80s Cocteau Twins, probably moreso Dreaming-era Kate and side two of Hounds, the Ninth Wave. This is a very good song! Excellent atmosphere, and while the vocals , the vibe and feel of this vocal style fits My taste . Incredible , I LOVE YOU after 1 song!”
"I liked the chill and atmospheric vibe of the intro and song as a whole. It has a very Enya mixed with Tori Amos style to it. The drums sound very epic and unique in this track. They keep the beat and groove well. The haunting vocal melodies behind the song arrangement really enhance the track. The singer mentions "look at me look at me, i am your spirit and your courage"..very cool stuff there. It almost sounds like a native american hallucinogenic shaman trip. Its definitely different and i can appreciate that. The recording and mix are perfect for this indie style track. Excellent work!"
The Beat is upon You
“I love this group's sound! It sounds a lot like some of my favorite bands including Minus the Bear, Little Tybee, and The Dear Hunter! They are really good! The singer has a certain ambiance to his voice and the guitar flutters beautifully in the background! The drums are catchy and not repetitive! I had a strong feeling that this is a song by Porcupine Tree that I have yet to hear...”

"This is amazing, sounds like a song from the Future, although At first the music reminds me of very old country days. Kind of like the time of the Beverly Hillbillies. Then the vocals hit. I'm reminded of old Spanish times. Like, old Spanish country maybe. It's very well put together. The music is different for the style of vocals and I love that. The vocals are very strong, but slightly drowned out by the music. Still the combination of this vocal style and this music style is pure genius. I love it.

"Inspiring. Great song for people who have/had hard time expressing themselves in a constructive manner. Refreshing song. No some ordinary co-dependent love song (I can not live without you). Nice song and the lyrics is amazing. At first I thought Kate Bush was going to come out but it sounds more like John Lennon taking the lead"
"Nice blues opening, the string and piano. Like the melodic voices under the lead singer. Sounds almost choral then takes on a rather haunted . Nice basic drum beat with the piano cords wrapping around that basic beat. I like how instead of adding more instruments you add the beautiful back vocals. They really make it unique and special. I can see a dark stage, the few band members to the side, in semi dark, the back up singers dressed 1930-1940 style elegantly in backround, semi dark, with the lead female vocalist in the spot light very elegantly dressed, it paints such a visual picture of something old and solid. Of days gone by. I like how the vocal breaks give a little voice to the instruments, but it is not over powering, it is more an accent. It feels so simple a melody, and yet the way it is put together t becomes something solid and rich, kinda blues and yet so much more. Surprised me that I really enjoyed this entire composition and was enjoying picking out the different notes

This song feels fairytale-esc in it's nature. it's a beautiful song with the incorporation of the flute. The song is made unique by the voice distortion, it adds an element that's a bit haunting.
"The beat is marvelous, it makes a statement although it is not loud, heavy or overly expressive. I like the melody because it has a calming peace effect. The artist has a rare voice, that has a good quality."
