Kasha is a rap artist from South East London. His style of rap is warm, rich, emotional, raw and poetic. He tells stories of his surroundings, the problems in the world and his dreams. The music is an eclectic Hip Hop mix of street beats, jazz flows, cinematic backdrops and Harmonic Progressions with collaborations from live bands and songwriters there are absolutely no barriers to this kids art. Kasha is an integral part of the label and production team called Vivid Imagery Since the labels formation in 2006 it has already swelled from a trio to a team of a dozen people dedicated toward promoting Kasha and UK Hip Hop into the international market. The label has already attracted a considerable following and now has a small street team of fans devoted towards promoting Kasha and other projects. Vivid Imagery’s first release was the Sting Operation, which was a co production with Beezwax Recordings. This 20 track compilation, also released in Germany, was promoted with a 4 track demo spearheaded by Kasha. The compilation also featured artists such as Klashnekoff, Genesis Elijah, S.A.S, Supar Nova and the Extremists. This Release will be followed by a small tour of Germany in January 08.

November 06 saw Kasha’s first piece of commercial airplay from the station Kiss100 with a track entitled Wildheart. This Track was still being played on Dynamite MC’s show 8 months later which far outlasts any Major or Independent track on the station. The track Wildheart has also seen numerous airplays and rewinds on other non-commercial stations such as Force Fm, Rinse FM and Fresh FM.
Another notable success for Kasha and the Label was the signing of a sponsorship deal with an American trainer company called Kashi Kicks who approached Kasha not only because of the obvious similarities in the name but because they thought he represented quality original UK music and was a good image for the company.

Kasha and Vivid Imagery’s aims are to always keep growing bigger and stronger. With tracks selling around the globe and the backing of fans from a wide range of markets, all achieved with very little promotional effort, this seems very possible.
