In the radio interview, her expression of music as an art and reality as a life-style will attract several listeners and transform lives. Karen’s ability to bring talent, reality and comedy to ministry is rewarding and promising for all age groups. Q: Who is you biggest musical influence? Have you heard of my niece the amazing gospel singer TANYA DALLAS-LEWIS?
A: Whew! That is a really hard question, because I have so many. I will name a few. I would have to start with the "Queen of Gospel", Shirley Caesar. I also love Yolanda Adams, Mary, Mary, Cece Winans, and Vicki Yohe. Even though I am strictly a Gospel artist, I love all types of music. So with that being said, as far secular artists goes, my first choice would have to be the late-great Michael Jackson. I also love Celine Dion, Dionne Warwick, Stevie Wonder. To answer your question as far as if I have ever heard of your niece Tanya Dallas-Lewis, my answer would be no, I have not, but I would love to hear her. Please send me a link to her website or her music. I would be honored to take a listen. Thank you for your question. God bless you Karen Showell
