I am Jay Shah, I'm 30 freakin' years OLD, and I make music for FUN, and as a HOBBY. I've always had a thing for industrial and electronica music since I was 13 or so......and today I mix my JZBlackICE music just from my PC, using a mic.....and software called Kinetic from CakeWalk($80) I bought almost 3 years ago. I'm creative and self-expressive with all my good and bad sides of me, and you'll hear it in all my mixes and singing. I love LIFE, and I ALSO HATE IT. Started in 1999 with a simple beat producing program called Techno EJay.
Just one member, Jay Shah, where the time not spent on making a living(JOB - am finding them then QUITING - yeessshhh), surviving the world(DISEASE, stress and all forms of pain and daily burdens), and being busy with life's insanity and everyday BULLSH*T(uh, LIVING), is put into creating tracks that take their own form and shape in becoming electronica that is JZBlackICE. Original and WHATEVER it is........
Started just as a hobby, it's been 8 LONG years of editing and re-arranging of almost 13+ CD's of music(which is now only 8 nicely mixed CD's - ALL the rest was crap) - Still re-working the beats and sounds of the BEST tracks created since 1999, JZBlackICE may become one more nice addition to the massive world of DJ's and Electronica artist's in the Electronica world.
JUST Recently, I happened to start USING a program I bought almost 2 yearz AGO called, Kinetics, from Cakewalk, that I put off using until just this month in 2008. I am shocked and happy to say that my 8th and 9th JZBlackICE Albums feature beats and rhythms from this MIND blowingly esy and simple yet priceless program.......................
