The first J.Viewz track was released on the “Chillout sessions 2”compilation by Blanco y Negro Music of Spain, alongside Sinead O’Connor, Paul Oakenfold & Massive Attack.

This feature has proven to be a great kick-start, given that later that year J.Viewz received many licensing requests from labels based in Germany, UK, Greece, Sweden,Holland, India, Australia, Taiwan, Israel, Russia, USA and more.  Some compilations also featured acts like Moloko, Air, Erykah Badu, Mylo and Jill Scott, just to name a few…

In April 2005 the debut album of J.Viewz titled "Muse Breaks"

has been released worldwide by Deeplay Music. Just before its release, the famous Trance duo "Infected Mushroom" has made the perfect teaser for this album:

a remix of "Muse Breaks" was released in their album "I'm the Supervisor".

This album sold 90,000 copies and made the remix a huge dancefloor hit.

The First single of J.Viewz called "Your Country" has entered numerous charts, including DJ Mag's hype chart, Ministry of Sound's radio chart and DMC UPDATE Chart. The single received excellent reviews in the press, and was played by international radio stations like Kiss100FM, Ministry of Sound radio, Radio 1, etc’…

In April 2006 that same single won 3^rd place in the International Song Writing Competition under the Dance/Electronica category. According to the New-York Times ISC is “THE songwriting competition to take note of”.

In November 2005 J.Viewz was chosen to produce an official remix to Nina Simone.

Jonathan chose to remix “See line Woman” and the result got signed for the jazz remixes series “Rewound & Reworked”.

Another interesting collaboration appears on the album “Breathing Under Water” by Anoushka Shankar & Kash Kale.  The Duo invited Noa, the vocalist of J.Viewz, to sing in their album. The result is the impressive single “Burn”, which opens the album and followed by tracks with Sting, Norah Jones and Ravi Shankar.

The above remix has also found its way into the next  2008 release of J.Viewz called The Besides EP.

Whilst working on his second studio album - Jonathan realized that this project had many recorded live versions, remixes and cover versions that couldn't fit on its 2nd album and needed to be heard on some format.
This eclectic mini-album, released by Dagan's new label Jorjia Music, maintains the refined sound of Jonathan's project and offers a first fascinating peek to the world of J.Viewz Live.

The first is to the ladino vocalist Yasmin Levi and the second is to the legendary

Nina Simone.

'The Besides' also features an exciting collaboration with the 3-time Grammy award winning percussionist Glen Velez with a new version of "When Silent it Speaks".

The first single, and the opening track of this EP is a surprising

cover version of Michael Jackson's "Smooth Criminal". This cover Drew great interest from the Media and became a play-list song on Ireland's famous radio station U105, as well as great support on KISS FM in the UK.

Later on this single was remixed by

UK’s DJ collective Bugz in the Attic.

This remix is featured in the upcoming release "Smooth Criminal Remixes" – along-side remixes from Chris Simmonds and Israli breakbeat producer S.T.Louder.

J.Viewz Live

The captivating experience of the 5-piece band features new interpretations of their tunes with a unique combination of live instruments, Vocals, electronic drumbeats,  drums and Turntables.

Their 2008 shows included a USA tour with Arian Hibbs of 'Panic! at the Disco' behind the keyboards.

Jonathan, 26, started his musical career with his band Violet Vision. Their debut release was the album “First Sign of Communication”, which drew rave reviews from the press and saw them invited to perform live in many festivals and clubs around the world.
Violet Vision have also had their tracks released on various compilations and singles,

including their successful single “Your Voice”, which was  supported by DJ’s like

Anthony, Papa, Cass, Sander Kleinenberg, Hernan Cattaneo, Moshic and many others with

excellent reception.

Other than working with J.Viewz, Jonathan works as an independent producer/Programmer & Engineer. His recent productions include a #1 hit song in Israel called "Adam Tzover Zihronot" by Avraham Tal. Jonathan also produces soundtracks for the BBC in the UK, National Geographic, Fox Kids and Discovery channels.
