    JUSTIN VELLUCCI Life Span of the Moth is his tenth record, following Terminal Harbor, which he recorded and released while living in Pittsburgh in 2007. He released his first solo record, a cassette-only affair, in 1996. Over the years, Vellucci has collaborated with several musicians. He has worked with Dw. Dunphy on numerous projects, including 1997's Sky Turns To Dust and 2003's mind-bending sound-experiment Nightmare Variations, and with guitarist Peter C. Neusch in post-punk bands The Prisoner and Dead Sea Effect. Dead Sea Effect's Those of Us About To Die Salute You was released in 2008. Vellucci also was a multi-instrumentalist in the surf-rock band The American Bandstand Communist Brigade (Formerly The Dick Clark Five) with Michael Catalano and J. Nixon, later of Hunchback.
