Q: Justin , heard you were really quite good at compaction, is this true? And have you ever seen whacker does when it falls over ? Just wondering. R.T. Victor,mt
A: R.T., you are correct! I am steeped in the craft of sub-grade standards and compaction. When a running whacker falls over it has a tendency to "run." The nature of its kinetics allows for it to "inch" like a caterpillar at an EXTREMELY high rate of speed and if not stopped QUICKLY can cause severe bruises to ones ego and emotional scarring.
