Bio
Justin Boyer (b.1978) is a noted composer and pianist from Washington DC. Boyer began composing and playing piano at age 9, coming under the tutelage of Dr. Clair Johanssen, a local organist and composer. In 1995, Boyer entered the Peabody Conservatory of Music in Baltimore, where he continued his studies with Mr. Moshe Cotel and earnied several awards and commendations. Upon receiving a Masters Degree in 2000, Boyer became organist at St. Peter Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eastpoint. Starting in 2002, he taught theory and composition at the Peabody Conservatory. Boyer now is professor of music theory at Montgomery College in Rockville, Md.
