The band started in 1992 in Missouri, originally known as Sojourn. They built a strong following, playing at festivals around the Midwest and building a nice repertoire of original music written by Randy Probst. He and bass player Heather Lamb decided to move out west about 8 years later. They had a number of adventures along the way, cruising across the country in their hippie bus named "Mom."
