Bio
Junkyard Morning were the winners of Beacon Radio's Battle of the Bands in 2008 at Wolverhampton Wulfrun Hall. The band have been described as having a "broodingly, melodic alt-rock sound delivered with seemingly genuine emotion and a strong stage presence. Vocally lead singer Stefan is reminiscent of Colin Doran of Hundred Reasons, gravely yet with a touch of tenderness; it works perfectly with their well constructed material and intelligent, heartfelt lyrics.” by the Surface Unsigned Judges. Having appeared on Red TV, Beacon Radio, Radio WM and Podcasts all over the globe they have just recorded a track for the NSPCC album "One Voice" and are looking for larger support slots in the remainder of 2009 and through 2010.

They have had tracks played on Beacon Radio, Radio Wm and Podcasts all over the globe. They have appeared on Red TV and been reviewed by Brum Live and Ryan's Gig Guide.
"Due to the high number of acts playing, the set was just five tracks long, opening with Wait For Me and the effects of the opening few bars was instantly commanding attention from the room. The effective pitch changes and harmonies within the song were tingling the senses. This was followed up by 7th Fret Lullaby which is an epic of a track with emotion dripping from the skilfully worded vocals, sympathised by the strings, and finalised by the drums. By this point the audience were spellbound and breathless. During performance, Rich plays his guitar with deep passion, Lee offers a quirky compromise from the other side of the stage, Dave on drums holds beat with a reserved calm yet showing force and rigour in all the right places, and Junkyard Morning are fronted by Stefan, a man who has stage presence in abundance, holding crowd connection throughout with penetrating eye contact."
