John and David were 2 misfits who by chance came together around 2005 and immediately clicked with one another. Their insecurities and lack of seriousness in the beginning kept them out of the limelight and in a smelly, dank, frigid shop in which they practiced for hours on end. With the official demo EP release “They Were Right” in 2009, Junk Royalty made a C-section entrance into the world of the Athens local music scene and will hopefully prove to be a proud Athens entity in the near futur...
