Julius Major fell in with hip hop at age 8 for the first time, after witnessing a MC Hammer performance. His mom then got him and his twin brother a performance the following week at metropolitan park Jacksonville, FL. As a 4th grader year at Garden City Elementary, he and his twin became school celebrities by coming with performances for the school plays consisting of dance and rap. (Like Kid and Play). 6th grade he learned how to read music as he joined the band at Highlands middle school. He had a love for football in middle school but had a deeper love for the snare Drum. After being president of a step team in high school, taking public speaking and Music business appreciation as electives he felt it was the right time to move on in his career. He got job as a gas station clerk on the Westside of Jacksonville, FL, He taped his album on the bulletproof glass after the club closes his store was the hang out spot he’d then easily turn his $7.00/hr job to 20.00/hr by selling his Jacktown Confrontation Camp album with his group mate John Harris. Julius Major has been performing lately mostly in Boston, MA. Independently promoting his upcoming Album “You Can’t Deny Reality” He’s been performing since age eight. This experience gives him a great Monster Stage Presence. The music business courses help his marketing and independent grind. The public speaking gives him excellent presence during interviews.
