Hello, my name is Julio Iglesias, no, not that one! I've been playing in rock bands for the last 20+ years. I grew up in music with a wide variety of influences, Led Zeppelin, Rush, Kansas, Pink Floyd, Jethro Tull  as well as todays current new rock bands, The Cure, Alice in chains, Breaking Benjamin and the list goes on. I am a drummer and started out playing in bands as one. As some years rolled by I was asked by the singer in one of those bands, going back to around 1986, if I wanted to sing a couple of songs so as to give him a vocal break during shows. I agreed to do so as I was already singing background vocals. At the time I had never sung solo to anyone let alone a live crowd. The band felt I could handle it. They heard me singing back up and thought I had a voice. Well about a year later the singer and guitar player had a falling out and yours truly wound up as the lead singer and drummer for this band. Eventually, I got out from behind those drums and was the front man in a different band and the rest, as they say, is history.

Over the next 20 years, and fronting several other bands, I learned to play other instruments and started writing original stuff.  These days I have a recording studio and recently joined another band.

I'm new to reverb nation and as I learn more about this site I will slowly but surely add more of my original music to it. For starters I've uploaded two original songs  called "It ain't ez" and "last night" hopefully many of you will like them.
