J Sky Walker

With a name like J Sky Walker you can expect something different. Inspired by Luke Skywalker's battle with the ‘dark side’ in the Star Wars movies, J saw much of himself and his struggle against the darker realities of life. At about the age of 16 J found himself at a crossroads in his life. He had to make the decision whether to follow his friends and chase after what he what he saw with his eyes or embrace the truth that he was taught by his parents as a Child and follow Christ. By the Grace of God J chose Christ. Since then J has been delivering the gospel of Christ through Rap music. J Sky walker is as imperfect as anyone else, but as evident in the quality of his music, he daily strives for perfection. “I know what its like to not have much in a society where you are often judged by what you have. I’ve always had to fight for everything I wanted. But I’ve found that there is victory only in Christ”. This is the message that permeates J Sky's music and life. Embedded in his fresh sound, creative style and catchy hooks is a message of victory for all who desire to be more than they are.
