My Mom Said Go Clean Your Room

My mom said go clean your room
And for heaven sake go ge the broom
Maybe if I close the door
She won’t notice it anymore.

Well I got busy and made my bed
Straightened my pillow and my spread
Put my clothes all in the drawer and
Crammed my closet with things galore

Now my room is neat and straight
And even I think it looks great
Now I can open up the door
And mom won’t bug me anymore
