Monarch Caterpillar must mean your a king or queen
Munching on your milk weed
Is the only place your seen
It seems like there’s two antennae
On each end of you
But you can’t fool me no matter what you do

Monarch Caterpillar with your bright stripes all around
I know that your getting ready to hang upside down
When you start to change, it will be such a big surprise
When it comes to tricks you really take the prize

Lovely emerald chrysalis with tiny threads of gold
Your just like a treasure chest your secrets yet untold
Somethings going to happen that’s so wonderful and strange
While your in your chrysalis I’ll see your color change

I don’t know just how you do it, Or the reason why
I just know that you’ll come out a Monarch Butterfly
Then You’ll fly away to where the caterpillars been
And lay all your eggs to start it all again
