Josiah’s music is beautiful. Rich in lyrical content it is full of powerful melodies, explosive vocals and a unity of expression rarely heard. While it certainly is not to everyone’s liking, and it not meant to be, it leaves me with a deep sense of fulfillment. There is a strong blend of emotive sensuous songs that pamper the spirit intertwined with uncomfortable, unnerving dissonance and ill timing to draw attention to the lyrics that all is not right in the world.

Diverse vocals styles which he employs to match the lyrical intention, the style is unique but are reminiscent of Robert Smith, Nick Cave and some channeled 80’s rock star.

It is the sort of artistry that people will either love or hate. Definitely worth a few listens particularly if you like the thinking persons musican such as Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen, Nick Cave.
