Ask Joshua W. Scott anything...
Q: How long have you write the text of a song. More like 20 minutes or 2 months? I do not mean the life that you live, to write texts.
A: It really varies. If I begin with a title, that always helps to speed up the process. If I begin with a blank slate, it will take longer. Every now and then, a song is completed very quickly. The quick answer would be: more than 20 minutes, less than two months.
