About

Josh Pugh
Rock, the blues, and playing the guitar. These things come natural for this Kentucky native. Not ten years ago, Josh never would have dreamed of being able to play a music instrument. That all changed one day when the 16 year old saw a fellow baseball team member jamming some tunes. Not long after realizing the idea of playing guitar sounded interesting and challenging, the flame started and has since been burning brighter than ever. Now 25, Josh recently relocated to Nashville where he pursued taking music to the next level but came back to Kentucky for now.
Writing and recording his own material in a home studio, Josh's debut EP album is due for an early March 2009 release. Titled "Look What You've Done", this album will reflect various lyrical ideas and familiar sounds of blues-rock, power ballads, and 80s rock. It's all about guitar driven music with catchy riffs and head turning guitar solos. These things are what makes rock and blues music just that. The music takes on a live feel.
Josh has teamed up with Kelly Kerr, front man for former 80s rock band Lionheart, and is very excited about continuing the 80s rock sound for the newer generations. Gigs are planned and the new lineup is currently in the rehearsal phase in Nashville. Kelly is planning on recording some new Lionheart songs to maintain the position on the record label after the new year. Major shows booked include the 2009 Rocklahoma in Pryor, Oaklahoma in July.
