Indie rock singer/songwriter Joseph Ady was born in New York, on August 15th, 1980. It was in Elementary School that he picked up his vocal skills, but they would lie dormant until 1999. In 1999, Ady picked up a 30 dollar toys r' us guitar and played it. Having no instruction whatsoever, he attempted to play this guitar and began teaching himself how to play.
