Starting as a way for three aspiring musicians to develop their
musicianship the Jorge Leal Trio has become an ambitious ensemble
striving to make a place in Chicago's diverse jazz community. The group
prides itself on its versatility and performs music spanning from straight
ahead jazz, latin jazz, and modern jazz fusion.

Coming out of Columbia College's jazz studies program, the group
