Bio
John was originally the mastermind of Fischer-Z.
He has a distinguished catalogue of 17 albums – more than 2 million sales. His career was initially inspired by the great maverick artists, from Alex Harvey to Captain Beefheart.
Watts has since amassed a considerable body of creative work. His distinctive writing has evolved steadily against a variety of musical colours encompassing written word, poetry and humour.
His last three albums have established him as a multimedia solo artist. Recently he has been touring extensively solo and with drummer Sam Walker and pianist Matthew Gest. (Known as The CB’s)
