Q: Hi John, Are you the same musician who recorded Ron Ryan's "Forever"? I am trying, with Ron's permission to do an Italian version. Can we talk? Thanks so much, Tom.

A: Hi Tom, Yes, That's me. I became friends with Ron after he heard my cover of his song "Because", by the DC5. He has sent me quite a few of his songs to record, but I've been trying to write my own material as well. I've also recorded another song of his called "Someone", that you may like. Ron's a great guy and I'm sure he would love to hear an Italian version of Forever. I also have an Italian composition of mine on Youtube called "When In Rome". Give it a listen when you get a chance. I think the video is on my Reverbnation channel. If you want to contact me directly, my email is : johnjcortese@verizon.net. Thanks again and Best of Luck. John P.S. - I have Ron's personal email and would be happy to contact him for you.
